With a stunning selection of new rattan or wicker pieces in store and more headed our way, we thought we would create a post filled with inspiring interiors incorporating rattan.

We love rattan for the ability of the natural fibre to bring an element of the outdoors in grounding and create warmth within a space.

The intricate weaves provide an interesting focal point with their gentle pattern and texture while the sheer nature of the weave keeps the piece from being visually heavy within a space. This is particularly great for small spaces and also effective with lighting where a pendant can work as a large statement piece without blocking the line of sight.

Rattan has the ability to work perfectly across a range of different interior styles. It's ability to soften a space and give it a relaxed feel works well against industrial materials like concrete or dark colours just as well as it does in light white space or bohemian against pattern.
