About the Artist
Kimmy Hogan is a flower-obsessed, digital illustrator who loves a colour palette that conjures "a big warm hug".
Kimmy's process involves filling journals with big loose flower shapes and then redrawing them digitally – with ‘hand motion’ - so the drawings inherit her natural wobbly, wavering lines and retains all the goodness of the original sketch.
It's the imperfection in the digital illustration that gives the image the human touch and soul – you can see that Kimmy has been there.
